Safa Park has been designed in such a way that it’s easy for visitors to find their way around, with plenty of signposts pointing in the right direction. The park features four themed gardens: Garden of Happiness & Fertility; Garden of Purity & Chastity; Garden of Hope & Love; and Garden of Joyful Union.

Safa Park, one of the largest parks in Dubai, is located near Jumeirah. The park contains a zoo and safari ride for visitors to experience animals native to the region. Created by Emaar Properties and opened to the public on December 12, 2008, it was built for AED850 million ($217m). It covers an area of 60 hectares (150 acres) between Interchanges No. 13 and 14 on Sheikh Zayed Road with a total of five main components: ecological park, adventure park, picnic areas, and lakes.

Safa Park Location & Hours

The Safa Park Zoo in Dubai timings are:

  • 08:00 am to 10:00 pm (Sunday – Wednesday)
  • 08:00 am to 11:00 pm (Thursday, Friday & Public Holidays)
  • 12 Noon – 11 pm (in Ramadhan)

Moreover, The zoo is closed on Fridays and public holidays, but the rest of the park remains open for visitors during these days.

Safa Park Entry Fee (updated 2021)

The entry fee to Safa Park Dubai is 2 AED for children and 3 AED  for adults. There are special rates for the disabled and elderly.

The Safa Park Dubai has a FREE entry for:

  • Children under 5 years of age
  • People more than 80 years old
  • Handicapped persons with an official card or dependent family members accompanying them (two tickets per person).

There are also reduced rates on weekends and public holidays. Family tickets will get you two adults plus up to three children aged between five and 12 years for 15 AED, so it can be a great option. Also, the students get a 50 percent discount with a student ID.

The Safa Park Dubai jogging track is made of smooth asphalt and has lanes for both walkers and runners. It is a great place to get exercise, enjoy the views of nature around it plus you can even stay longer if there are not too many people because it’s huge!

The park also provides benches on either side so you can take a rest or do some stretching before getting back into your run again! It is a great place to exercise and stay healthy.

You can also jog or run on the multi-purpose track which is used for all kinds of sports such as basketball, football, hockey, etc. And even has areas for kids to play too! When you come during off-peak hours (before noon) there won’t be that many people so you can enjoy your run without bumping into anyone.

You will find this track in Safa Park Dubai which is located next to the Jumeirah Mosque off Al Wasl road towards Hessa street! You have multiple entrances so just drive up and park near one of them then go on a jog or run around the lake. It is a beautiful place to get some exercise and enjoy the views of nature at the same time!

11. Safa Park Waterfall

The waterfall is an excellent place to spend some time when the weather is hot and it’s a great change from Dubai shopping malls. This park has plenty of other attractions in addition to the waterfall such as grills, play areas for children and adults, fitness equipment like exercise bikes and rowing machines, etc, picnic spots with umbrellas & barbecue places, and an amphitheater with seats for over 1000 people and much more.

The waterfall at Safa Park is very close to the main entrance, so you might easily miss it. This waterfall is unique and beautiful. It’s just gorgeous! There’s no better way to cool off than spending an afternoon at this refreshing place near your hotel in Dubai.

1. The park is open from morning till evening but no entry for vehicles after sunset hours.

2. There are signs printed on walls at various locations inside the park. The visitors must follow the signs and instructions given to them to ensure the safety of themselves as well as other people in public places.

3. The children should be accompanied by adults at all times. Visitors are not allowed to take their pets along with them into the park, except for guide dogs for visually challenged or disabled individuals.

4. It is strictly prohibited to take pictures or videos of military installations (if any) inside the park.

5. The visitors are requested not to litter in the park, they must either place their garbage at bins available everywhere around the premises or carry it back with them.

6. They can bring food and water along but it should be packed properly so that no animals could get access to it.

7. There are several canteens inside where people can have food etc., there is a seating arrangement as well, but the visitors are requested to keep everything clean after their use.

8. People can exercise and walk in groups or alone; there is no restriction for any kind of activity inside the park.

Rules for Dogs at the Safa Park Dubai

Are dogs allowed in Safa Park Dubai?

Yes, dogs are generally allowed in the park as long as they’re on a leash. For those who may want to bring their dogs without a leash, it is also possible provided that the dog is well-mannered and under control at all times. There are still rules regarding bringing animals into public places such as avoiding aggressive behavior towards other people and animals, cleaning up after your dog, not allowing the animal to disturb other visitors of the park.

Is Safa Park Dubai dog-friendly?

No, the Safa Park Dubai is not dog-friendly. There are signs posted across the park that say dogs must be on a leash at all times, and there are also no bags or bins for owners to put their pet’s waste in. This means you will have to carry out what your dog leaves behind, which can be messy and awkward. There are also no parking lots or designated areas for your car, so you will have to find street parking which can be difficult in the busy city of Dubai.

The Safa Park Car Show is a free public event held each year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2010 and aims to display car models from various manufacturers around the world. The show consists of five different categories: sports cars; classic cars; modified cars; luxury/supercars; and concept cars which are yet to be released on the market.

The show is open to the public and people of all ages are welcome. Visitors can view over 500 models, including high-end cars such as Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini; while some others include Porsche, Rolls Royce, and Bentley.
